On Friday, November 21, Rhonda Case — the co-coordinator for the Oregon chapter of WeWillSpeakOut.US — was interviewed live on KBOO Community Radio.
According to its website, KBOO is a “Volunteer-Powered, Non-Commercial, Listener-Sponsored, Full-Strength Community Radio for Portland, Oregon, Cascadia & the World!” In other words, it’s the perfect space for this grassroots WeWillSpeakOut.US movement to take root.
Delphine Criscenzo, host and producer of the weekly Bread and Roses program focusing on feminist public affairs programming, interviewed Case about “Speak Out Sunday,” and the broader WeWillSpeakOut.US public health campaign to address sexual and gender based violence in communities of faith around the country and the world.
The title of the full segment was Women’s Bodies are Sacred, Capable and Beautiful.
